Missy was another w@w find. I got her because of the many positive feedbacks about her. Before we book her mabilis sha mag reply sa messages. Mejo matagal din kami nakapagmeet personally kasi hindi magtugma ung sched nmn and ung venue ng meeting. But eventually we did meet and ok nmn ung nagging meeting nmn. She was very bubbly and friendly. So we’re happy to get her nmn. After that hindi ko na sha mashado nacontact or nakausap. Nung nagkaroon ng issue sa w@w mejo bothered ako kasi mahirap na nga sha macontact. We were not able to meet na before the wedding. Hindi nmn maalis sa akin magworry na baka hindi sha makarating. Pero i learned to let go and trust her na makakarating sha. Nag meet na lng kami ulit nung wedding na. The guests were saying na magaling daw ung emcee nmn. Well magaling nmn talga. Nadala nya ung crowd. And hindi nmn naempty ung venue. Ayoko kasi mangyari ung after dinner magtatayuan na ung guests. Good thing we have a good emcee. Magaling talga c Missy. Nung dinner sha pa nga ung kumuha ng food for us. Hehehhe… kasi alam nyang gutom na gutom na kami. Parang sha ung nagging waiter nmn. Hehhehe… All thumbs up to her.

We were not suppose to give out minicakes lang sa PS nmn. Kaya lang sabi ng mom ko better if we could give something else. Wines are the easiest to get. But we didn’t want to give red wines kasi mejo common na un. I looked for wine suppliers sa w@w and I found Jasmine Guitang. She offered fruit wines. So I contacted her right away and madali sha magreply and ok kausap. I got strawberry wines from her. Galing pa Baguio ung wines nmn. Hehehe… tinatanong nga ako kung paano ako nakakuha ng strawberry wines eh. Hehehe… sabi ko e di sa w@w. J I was the one who designed the wine label and sent it to her for printing. Then ako na ung nag package. Hindi nga nabigyan lahat ng PS ng wines eh kaya we ordered additional pa from her. Hehhhe…

The FabFoto Booth was a gift from my Ninong and MOH. Eversince we started planning the wedding gusto ko na talga ng photobooth as souvenir pero mejo out of budget. Buti na lng mabait si MOH hehehhe…. Super enjoy kami sa FobFoto. Kami yata ang nagsara ng booth kasi nakapagfabfoto lang kami after the wedding na. J sunod sunod pa. The guest were really happy with the FabFoto. Pati na din cla Jayson and Chug. Enjoy sila. Hehehhe…. I’m glad they did. Nasulit din ung gift ng MOH ko. Love you Joy!!! Salamat ulit. Hehehe…

We just want a simple and delicious wedding cake but we want it all edible. Ayoko kasi ung maganda lang tapos konti lang ung makakain ko. Hehehe… I love desserts kasi. Yum yum… TPC was the clearest choice for us. She offers all edible cake at a very reasonable price plus its really delicious. I love chocolates kaya chocolate cake ang pinagawa nmn. Very creative c Ate Audrey and ang cute ng mga designs nya. She’s also very accommodating and easy to talk to. I love our cake. Ang ganda ganda. Also our cake topper. Hehehe…. The cupcakes and mini cakes were also nice and delicious. Masarap nga daw sabi ng mga tita and friends ko.

On Roberto Antonio's

Flowers: Roberto Antonio’s Flowers

When I think of flowers, I always think of Roberto Antonio’s. You may think they are very expensive flowers when infact their prices are reasonable considering the amount of flowers and the arrangements they provide. Definitely worth every cent. They are not that popular in w@w. siguro I found a few comment there but not as many as Mang Boy or Angels of Hearts. But still we took the chance and we're glad we did. We met with Dale and discussed the inclusions in our package and we are really happy on what they offered. So we booked them na for our wedding. Wala kami nagging problem sa kanila. They were all very accommodating ang madaling kausap and very professional.The flowers were delivered ng 8am yata. Basta early sha. When I saw the flowers sobrang amazed ako on how beautiful they were. As in BEAUTIFUL. And when I saw my bouquet napatili talga ako. Sobrang beautiful parang ayaw ko na bitawan. Hhehehe…. It was a full Plum Callalily Bouquet with pink geralton wax. So beautiful and lovely. I never expected to have a bouquet like that. Another wedding dream come true. All the flowers that Roberto Antonio’s provided was so lovely and the guests and my tita’s can't stop raving about them. Up until now lagi nila sinasabi na ang ganda ng flowers mo. The centerpieces were beautiful and the flowers in the couple’s table. Also the flowers in the cake table… all LOVELY!!!!! I’m so happy talga with them. Another money well spent. Not only did they deliver but they delivered good.

AnneVida is actually 2 persons. Hehehe… One is Anne and the other one is Vida. They both do great makeup pero mas nakakausap ko c Anne and sha ang nagmakeup sa akin.
Anne’s is my friend Mela’s friend. She recommended me Anne cguro start pa lng ng wedding preps and I consider her talga. I looked for feedbacks from w@w pero I can’t find any. Pero I took the chance and contacted her. I asked for her rates and they were reasonable nmn. After that hindi ko na mashado nacontact c Anne and hindi na kmi nakapagmeet. Then she texted me last April 2008 and told that they were joining the bridal fair in Megamall. Sabi ko kay Matt na punta kami para makapagpabook kay Anne. So we went there and they were offering free make up trial so nag pamakeup ako and i loved how she did my makeup. Simple natural makeup lang ung ginawa nya ang it was great. The first time I met her magaan kaagad ang loob ko sa kanya. Gus2 ko sha kasi lagi sha nakasmile and masaya shang tao. Hehehhe… So right there I booked them for our wedding. Next meeting nmn is ung trial make up ko nung July yata un. Sabi ko gawin mo nmn ako blushing bride. Hehhee… and she did. Ang galling ng ginawa nya. Feeling bride talga ako. Hheheheh….
During the wedding, kasama sa package nmn ang makeup ni MIL and SIL so dun muna sha pumunta. She was there with her team cguro 7am yata un. Ang aga noh!! Hehehe… dumating cla sa akin siguro around 9:30am tapos work agad. Makeup agad. Nung mnmakeupan nya ako wala kami ginawa kundi magtawanan. Cguro dahil sa kakulitan nya nawala na din ang kaba ko. Parang matagal na kami magkakilala. Hehehe... ung hairstylist nya na c Cel magaling din. According sa kanya mukha daw grade 6. heheheh.... Sobrang saya talga. She took care of me during preps and she made me beautiful. Everybody was telling me how beautiful I look. All thanks to Anne. At tinulungan pa nya ako magbihis since wala ang designer ko. She was not just my makeup artist. She was there as a friend at the same time. She’s one of those suppliers na after the wedding ended up being your friend. I love Anne and her team.

Ms Adora was another w@w find. I inquired with her para sa bridal gown ko but she gave me price higher than Mayette’s which was beyond the budget na so we didn’t get her. Nung una the Entou Gowns were supposedly to be made by Lauro of Tabora which was also a w@w find. Mejo di lang kami nagkasundo ni Lauro kaya hindi ko na tinuloy. Saying I deposited 2K pa man din sa kanya. But anyway, I contacted Ms Adora again to asked for her rates para sa entou. I told her that I have 12 adult entou and 4 flower girls (dami noh!!) and she gave me a reasonable quote nmn. I also asked for her rates pag labor lang and it was reasonable din nmn. I met up with her para magpasketch ang I loved the designs. I only got her for labor kasi I want a specific shade ng tela na wala sa mga swatches nya. I bought na lang tela from divi.
During Preps, no problem at all. She shows up during fittings. Pulido ang gowns. My entou had 2 fittings the first one konti lang nmn ng adjustments tapos the second one ung iba lang ang nagpaadjust. Pero the gowns were all beautiful. Ang gaganda ng entou ko. The gown were delivered 2 weeks before the wedding which was great kasi hindi ko na iisipin ung entou ko after that. Heheheh…
I had her made also my Prep dress ang i love it. ganda ng pagkakatahi. ang ganda ng dating sa pictures.

When I was scouting for my bridal gown designer, I was set on getting somebody from divisoria since mas mura dun and it will be more practical since I don’t want to spend too much on my dress. I really want a famous designer designer to do my gown but unfortunately we don’t have the budget for it. So I started scouting for good divisoria designers sa w@w. sa lahat ng na search ko c Mayette ung nagustuhan ko. Ayoko kasi ng nagiikot sa divi kaya ang gus2 ko pagpunta ko dun may specific na ako na store napupuntahan para hindi nakakapagod. Hehhe… so I contacted Mayette para makipagmeet sa kanya and show her the design that I wanted. Nung first meeting pa lang at ease na ako sa kanya. She told me na maganda ung napili kong design tapos konting chika chika and she gave me a quote which was within the budget. Ang hindi lang within the budget is ung sa entou kaya hindi ko sha kinuha for the entou gowns. But we didn’t book her right away kasi I wanted to meet other designers I found in w@w like Ms Adora. (Her ratings to follow). The next I decided na c Mayette na nga ang gagawa ng gown ko so itexted her of my decision and deposited the DP.
During the preps, ok nmn sha. Same old bubbly Mayette. Hehehe… masarap sha kausap. Machika kasi sha and lagi nakangiti. Maganda ang aura. So you won’t feel negative pag kausap mo sha. I had my measurements taken ng last week of May, had my first fitting ng last week of June, Second Fitting again in July, Final fitting in August. A week before the wedding ready na ang gown ko for pick up. So no problem talga sa delivery because she delivers well. Anf tanging comment ko lang is lagi sha late sa ,mga meetings nmn. Hehehhe… you need to ensure her pa of the time of the meeting para makadating sha dun on time.
I love my gown, It was very ME!!! Hehehe…. Pulido ang pagkakagawa and fits well. I loved my train. It was a bubble train. Not the usual flat train. Hindi nmn ako mashado maarte sa gown basta I look good I’m happy na. hehehhe…. I’m actually very easy to please. Hehehhe… Ung gown ng mom ko maganda din. It fits her well and bagay na bagay. Too bad lang she wasn’t able to wear it kasi she was in the hospital then.

On Snappy Treats, Our Second Caterer

All the while everybody thought na ung viands nmn galing sa Sonya’s. They were all raving about the food. Masarap ang food and busog na busog ang mga guests. The guests were saying na ang dami daw ng food. Since limited ang menu ng Sonya’s Garden we had another caterer for our additional viands. We brought in additional 3 viands plus rice (kasi ang mahal ng rice sa Sonya’s). Ang natikman ko lng sa Snappy Treats is ung Grilled Tuna na sobrang sarap. Heheheh... one of the best i’ve tasted so far. Ung other 2 viands d ko na natikman pero masarap daw sabi ng guests. They even added decorations sa venue and it was nice. It made the place even more beautiful.

On Sonya's Garden

Reception: Sonya’s Garden

We started scouting for reception venues last February 2008. We went to Tagaytay para magocular sa mga reception venues dun. Ung pagpunta nmn sa Sonya’s Garden was really accidental lang. We were on our way to MC Mountain to inquire on their rates since we were considering them for Matt’s Preps. Tapos we saw the sign board going to Sonya’s Garden sabi ni Matt why don’t we try to look at the place sabi ko cge pero kasi hindi ko gusto ung menu nila jan, pang vegetarian. Pero we still went. Our first time there and iba talga ang place na un. We were immediately amazed with the place parang nasa ibang lugar talga. The air smelled wonderful the surroundings are very beautiful. I loved their small resting place na may kulambo. Sobrang relaxing nung place… sarap ng feeling. We went around and surveyed the venues. First, we went to the morning glory venue. It was beautiful with the garden inside… we knew our guests would love the place. I especially love their very clean restrooms. Ang bango bango… amoy malinis talga. Hehehehe…. Then we went to the sunflower venue, that time mejo new pa lng sha. Comments ng ibang w@wies kita daw ung parking area since d pa marami ung plants sa harap. The venue was simple pero we liked the layout. Kasi nga parang pang party talga sha unlike morning glory na pahaba ung layout. We didn’t book the place right away kala kasi nmn may bayad heehhehe…. We went back for dinner para matikman nmn ung food nila and we loved it nmn. Kala nga nmn madami cla inoofer na dishes, basic salad pasta and dessert lang pala. Hehehe…. When we went back to the hotel, diniscuss nmn ung venue and we decided to have it in Sonya’s Garden since pde nmn magpasok ng ibang viands for those people na gusto ng meat. The next morning pumunta ulit kami to book Morning Glory. We went back to Sonya’s nung March na for our Foodtasting and to pay our DP. Kasama na nmn parents nmn nun and when they saw the place they loved it. Pero sabi nila mas ok daw ung Sunflower venue since maganda nga daw ang layout nya. Nung time na un maganda na ung sunflower. Marami na improvements as compared before. So we changed our booking to Sunflower.
During the Preps, we first had Nhor as our AE. Then napalitan sha ni Gerlie because she’s on leave daw, I don’t know. Hehhehe… pero I was relieved nmn kasi mejo d ko gustong AE c Nhor since ang tagal nya magreply sa text. Minsan hindi pa. As compared to Gerlie na madaling kausap and mabilis ang kilos and mabilis din magreply. She was very accommodating sa mga requests nmn.
During the wedding, the sunflower venue was super beautiful. With all the flowers around. Sobrang ganda ng lugar. Wala talga ako masabi. Sonya’s Garden is Sonya’s Garden. As far as I know wala kmi naging major problem sa kanila. Maayos ang layout, all or requests were granted. Maganda ung set up ng buffet. The only comment I can give cguro is mejo mabagal ang mga waiters. We were not served food right away. E sobrang gutom na gutom na kmi nun. Hehehe… Missy was the one to get Lechon for us pa. Sobrang kinukulit nya ung mga waiters to give us food. Hehehhe… kahit water d kami naservan. Also ung dessert was served late. Hindi lahat nakapagdessert. We should have included it sa buffet para lahat nakakuha.

On Caleruega and Father Stephen

Ceremony: Transfiguration Chapel, Caleruega

We first visited this chapel last 2007 and we immediately fell in love with the place. Right there and then we decided na dun kami magpapakasal. We booked Caleruega last July 2007. We weren’t decided on a date yet but we know we wanted an 888 wedding kaya lang they’re booked na on that date so we chose between August 18 or August 28. Nung nagpabook kmi dun lang kmi nagdecide to have it on August 28, 2008. Di nmn kinonsider na it was a Thursday. Heheheh…. Narealize lang nmn na Thursday un cguro few months after na. hehehe… Pero go pa din. No changing of dates. Because I myself hate rescheduling. :D
During preps Crystal of Caleruega was very accommodating. Mabilis magreply sa texts and email kaya wala ako naging problem. Lahat ng queries ko sinasagot nmn nila. That’s what I like about them, mabilis cla magreply. Si Ms. Sally Dastas nmn of St Francis Xavier I contact through YM. Mas mabilis sha sumagot sa YM compared sa text. :D
During the wedding, the ceremony started late. 3:30pm na yata un. Which was OK lang din kasi some of our PS and Entou was late. Hehehe… It was a blessing in disguise na din. On that day, the chapel was magnificently beautiful not to mention the beautiful flower arrangements made by my florist. I looked at it very differently. Sobrang ganda and I fell in love with it all over again. Iba pala talga pag ikaw na ang maglalakad sa aisle. Heheh.... When I entered that Caleruega door, hindi ako naiyak. I was smiling the whole time I was walking. Sobrang kinikilig ako. Si Matt ang naiyak hindi ako. Hehehe…. Sayang hindi nakuhaan ng pic. Hehehe….

Officiating Priest: Fr. Stephen Redillas, O.P.

The wedding started late na that day since may retreat sha. It started 3:30pm na but ok lang for us. As mentioned above, blessing in disguise. Father Stephen’s homily was great. Ever since nmn na nagsisimba kami sa Caleruega we have always loved his homily. A lot of guests say na magaling ung priest. The only bad comment I can give is mejo nagmamadali sha kaya d na kmi nakapagpapicture with him. Sayang pero its ok pa din.
